Something to Sting About
By Jeffrey M. Anderson Last summer's groovy popcorn flick The Scorpion King(2002, Universal, $26.98) opens with a bang and never stopsbanging. It's more or less a spin-off from Stephen Sommers's two mediocre Mummymovies, but it tops both of them in spirit, energy and fun.Strangely enough, The Rock provides his own commentary track, separate from director Chuck Russell's.
