Strings Attached
By Jeffrey M. Anderson South Korean filmmaker Lee Woo-cheol joins the recent onslaught of Asian horror with this competent, yet completely uninteresting entry. After a car accident that killed her colleague, cellist Mi-ju has become a teacher and tried to forget her past. Unfortunately, she's saddled with a strange, silent daughter and an even stranger housekeeper. The usual creepy stuff happens. The box cover is great, though. Tartan's DVD comes with a director's commentary track, a behind-the-scenes featurette, trailers and TV spots and previews for other Tartan releases.
