By Jeffrey M. Anderson An amazing cast is wasted as they talk and talk and never really say anything. Sean Penn stars as a casting director who searches for meaning in his life, along with L.A. lowlifes Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright Penn, Chazz Palminteri, Garry Shandling, Anna Paquin, and Meg Ryan. Hurlyburly is written by David Rabe, based on his own play, and directed by Anthony Drazan (Zebrahead). It all just seems like yesterday's leftovers. At least the film, photographed by Gu Changwei, looks good.
