Seasonal Disorder
By Jeffrey M. Anderson  Out of Season is a minor film that doesn't seem destined toaffect a whole lot of people one way or another. Micki (Carol Monda) isa lesbian drifter who reluctantly comes to a small fishing village totake care of her dying uncle (Dennis Fecteau), but falls in love with acook at a diner (Joy Kelly). These actors are all interesting to watchand in another universe they would all be big stars. But if this moviedidn't have the lesbian angle going for it there wouldn't have been anyreason to make it at all. It opens this week at the Lumiere.
