By Jeffrey M. Anderson Barbara Stanwyck uses every acting muscle in her body to redeem this silly holiday romance in which characters run themselves ragged to keep up a ridiculous deception. Character actors S.Z. Sakall, Sydney Greenstreet and Una O'Connor also add a bit of spice. The DVD comes with a fairly predictable, but deftly handled and quite lovely Christmas two-reeler, Star in the Night directed by a then-unknown Don Siegel.
