We Have the Power
By Jeffrey M. Anderson Like Hanna-Barbera, Filmation was dedicated to making energetic cartoons as cheaply as possible. But while the former was dedicated to humor, Filmation focused on action and adventure, warriors, superheroes and spacemen. Most of these shows aired on Saturday mornings, and thus they contain a wonderful, carefree nostalgia. BCI Eclipse has done a superior job packaging these cartoons, with lots of extras and information for fans.
