By Jeffrey M. Anderson A famously, hysterically bad film with an entirely incoherent script. But director John Boorman accomplishes dazzling things with his eerie, reflective sets and powerhouse cast including Richard Burton and Louise Fletcher. Ironically, it's 18 year-old Linda Blair who comes out the best. Ennio Morricone provided the score.
