Anderson As of this third installment, Clive Barker withdrew from the Hellraiser series, taking only an "executive producer" credit, and the film is a definite step down from the first two films. But it's still a step above the standard slasher flick and comes with some unusual ideas (along with some silly ones). Trapped in a creepy, rotating sculpture, Pinhead comes back to life when a rat's blood is splashed on its surface. This new disc comes with an interesting 30-minute interview with Barker. The next film, Hellraiser: Bloodline, opened in theaters with an 'Alan Smithee' directorial credit, and the rest of the series has gone straight to video.
