Stalk Puppets

By Jeffrey M. Anderson

Of all people, Mickey Rooney stars in this silly sequel, as toy maker "Joe Petto." He has a misfit son called "Pino" (Brian Bremer), who likes to make weird toys like "Larry the Larvae." As it begins, a boy finds a strange present on his doorstep. His father opens it and is murdered by a creepy Santa Claus toy. The boy's mother tries to help her distraught son by buying him toys from Petto's shop. And of course, there are more booby-trapped toys, a killer robot, and a twisted take on the Pinocchio tale.
