Clean Break
By Jeffrey M. Anderson Elite Entertainment released this new gore comedy straight to DVD.Directed by Andy Signore and T.J. Nordaker, The Janitor has more in theway of imagination and enthusiasm than it does in execution. It has somesurprising gore effects and a little sex, but it's a bit sluggish andthe actors can't always handle the task of reading so much dialogue. Athick-bearded, barrel-bodied 30 year-old janitor has worked for the samecompany since age seven. He talks in a low growl (similar to ChristianBale's Batman) and rips people's arms off when they're mean to him. Hisbody count racks up pretty quickly, but no one ever suspects him sinceno one even notices him. He gets his big break when he interviews for aposition at a sorority house, but even that leads to certain carnage.Crystal Le Bard stands out as a sexy office worker who flirts witheverything on two feet.
