Their drunken, screeching fights agitated the neighbors, who eventually started recording them. The tapes became an underground legend, and before long followed comics, plays and this movie. Glenn Shadix (Beeltejuice) and Gill Gayle star as the revolting, raving pair. Director Robert Taicher stages unconnected scenes featuring their bizarre, foul-mouthed, circular arguments. Some have compared their exchanges to Beckett and Pinter. Others will want to run screaming.
