Cabin Cleavers
By Jeffrey M. Anderson Clint Hutchison makes his directorial debut with this low-budget horror film that sets up a very effective mood and sustains it for a long time, or at least until the cheap ending. After a miscarriage, Helen Burnett (Maxine Bahns) and her photographer husband Shawn (Andrew Bowen) move to a country home. A cabin in the back of the house has a creepy history and after poking around inside, Shawn begins seeing things. John Schneider, formerly of "The Dukes of Hazzard" and country music, plays Helen's brother. Monarch released the DVD.
