By Jeffrey M. Anderson Billy Crystal stars as a psychiatrist who accidentally rear-ends a car and finds himself with gangster Robert De Niro as a patient. De Niro is suffering from nervous stress and begins to call on Crystal day and night. A brilliant comedy actor, De Niro transcends the material and brightens every scene he's in. In Midnight Run (1988), De Niro and Charles Grodin made a wonderful team, but the pair in Analyze This doesn't seem to click in the same way. I'm sorry to report that Crystal seems uncomfortable and out of place. Lisa Kudrow also stars as Crystal's fiancee.
