By Jeffrey M. Anderson Perhaps Abel Ferrara's most recent feature to actually receive a general release in the U.S., The Funeral is yet another fresh take on the gangster flick. Two gangsters (Christopher Walken and Chris Penn) thirst for revenge after their brother-in-arms (Vincent Gallo) is murdered. Ferrara puts an interesting spin on the story by casting Anabella Sciorra and Isabella Rossellini as the two men's wives who attempt to throw in their two cents.
