Bachelor Party Vegas (2005)

By Jeffrey M. Anderson The straight-to-video comedy romp provides stinging evidence that this genre -- men-behaving-badly -- has pretty much burned itself out. National Lampoon's Animal House managed to shock audiences in 1978, and American Pie (1999) contributed one or two new elements, but Bachelor Party Vegas has shown up after the guests have all gone home. Four pals -- who don't really look like they would actually be friends -- go to Vegas for a bachelor party, but wind up on the run from the mob. The movie isn't quite as raucous as it wants you to believe (there's only a tiny amount of nudity) and it gets rather touchy-feely. Even sexy Jaime Pressly's cameo amounts to nothing. Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle) and Donald Faison ("Scrubs") co-star.
