Mild West Show
By Jeffrey M. Anderson It's easy to see why this 1980 film about a traveling Wild West show is dear to director Clint Eastwood's heart. Like Unforgiven, it's a testament to days gone by. What Bronco Billy (Eastwood) and his Wild West show lack in modern-day thrills, they make up for in heart. Sadly, the subplot about the runaway heiress (played by Sondra Locke), though meant to be nostalgic, is just annoying.
